Policy
This is the acceptable-use policy template that ships with the software. The operator of this instance adopts, edits, and enforces their own policy; the text below is the starting point, and the operator — not the software — is responsible for it and for legal review in their jurisdiction.
Prohibited listings
- Anything illegal to sell in the operator's jurisdiction, or in the buyer's where the seller knows it.
- Stolen goods, credentials, personal data, and exploits or malware offered for wrongdoing.
- Anything whose sale would endanger a specific person.
Prohibited conduct
- Fraud: taking payment without intending to deliver, or misrepresenting goods.
- Impersonation of another account's identity key or payment identity.
- Attempts to de-anonymize other users, or to extract keys, seeds, or credentials from them.
- Spam, flooding, or abuse of the report and dispute systems.
Enforcement — stated honestly
Moderators can warn accounts, remove listings, record dispute outcomes, and close accounts. Closure ends an identity: its listings are unpublished, its reputation stops growing, and it can no longer log in. History stays visible to counterparties.
There is no ban and no suspension, because neither can work: accounts are pseudonymous, and nothing can prove a new account is the same person. This marketplace does not pretend otherwise. Moderators have no power over funds and cannot read anyone's messages — messages are end-to-end encrypted and the server holds only ciphertext.
Reports
Use the report form on any listing, profile, or review. Reports are read by moderators together with the public record. Filing a report does not disclose your messages or your identity beyond your account.
